This archipelago consists of 365 islands and islets. Most of the population lives on Great and Little Exuma, two islands connected by a bridge.
If you visit the Bahamas in April, it is possible to attend the Out Islands Regatta. During this most important event of Exuma, the “sloops” compete for the title of best of the Bahamas.
The Exuma Land and Sea Park, accessible only by sea, is perfect to discover for many landscapes and marine species.
Paradise Bay is located in the North of Exuma, at 7 miles from the airport and 1 mile from Emerald Bay.






Georgetown & Airport
Located about twenty miles from Paradise Bay Bahamas, Georgetown and the “capital ” of Exuma. About 1000 people live in this seaport, a favorite spot for boaters.
It is here that concentrates the majority of businesses, administrations and events.
You will find the biggest supermarket of the island, as well as car rentals and taxi boat that takes you to Stocking Island.
There are two major yachting events: the annual Family Island Regatta in Elizabeth Town and the Regatta taking place once a year.
Located at 10 minutes by car from Paradise Bay Bahamas, this International Airport will let you go to Exuma from the USA, Canada or another island of the Bahamas.





Rentals in Exuma Bahamas
Car rental is not required on Exuma! STOP is a widely used means of transport, even by tourists. You can also use the daily bus (except sundays), because we suggets you to rent a car couple days to discover Exuma.

There are several car rental companies on Exuma, but we suggest you to rent it from “Airport Car Rental”, because they can drop it off at the resort.
You can also use a taxi or call the local bus. Our concierge will be happy to help you.

Nothing is easier than taking the scooter to admire the beautiful scenery and enjoy beautiful deserted beaches of the Exumas.

Diving center
For a simple trial or to feed your experience, you can book one or more diving days to explore the reefs and waters of the Exumas and discover the famous “Blue Holes”.
Exuma currently has two dive centers, DIVE EXUMA located in Georgetown and the PADI center of Emerald Bay (less than 1 mile from Paradise Bay).
Depending on your preferences, you have the opportunity to perform dives themes such as “shark diving” Blue Hole diving “, “reef diving”, etc.

Exuma Point – Less than 6 miles
Accessible by sea or by land, this restaurant, facing the sea, is one of the best of Exuma.
Run by a couple of Bahamians, Exuma Point will allow you to discover the variety of Bahamian cuisine. With their buffet (conch fritter, crack conch, group, snapper, etc.) and their warm and friendly welcome, Myriam and Elvis will undoubtedly left good memories that you will keep Exuma.
Big D’s – Less than 1 mile
You can not come to the Bahamas without tasting the “Conch Salad”. Big D’s is located at the end of our beach and he is the specialist of the conch salad in the Bahamas!
This bar-restaurant decorated with local colors, is accessible on foot via the beach.

Pallappa – Less than 1 mile
Located in the heart of Emerald Bay, this restaurant with a pool offers a more elaborate cuisine.
Different from others locals restaurants described above, due to its proximity to the Marina and the Farmer’s Hill Golf Course, the palappa will allow you to eat more refined dishes in a pleasant setting.
Peace & Plenty – Georgetown
Famous for its history and its world-famous bartender, the Peace and Plenty, offers one of the best meat of Exuma. In the 80s the Peace and Plenty was the largest hotel Exuma.
Fish Fry – Less than 15 miles
On most islands of the Bahamas, you can eat in at the “Fish Fry”. The Fish Fry, a group of several small huts on the beach, is perfect if you want to eat local food and party with Bahamians.

Cocoplum Beach
Close to Paradise Bay, this amazing beach is the perfect spot to do some kite-surfing.
During low tide you can walk on a beautiful sandbar.
Turtles Bay
A beautiful place accessible by land or by sea. Visit this magnificent beach and swim with turtles all friendlier one than the other. Don’t forget your GO PRO !
Chat N’ Chill
Stocking Island is easily accessible from Georgetown using the Water Taxi, or from Paradise Bay by doing the excursion Chat N ‘Chill. This restaurant is the most tourstic Exuma place.

This magnificent white sand beach crossed by the Tropic of Cancer is located between Forbes Hill and Williaws town, on Little Exuma.
